Privacy Policy
Intervly is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website and services at intervly.com and any related subdomains or applications (the "Platform").
By using Intervly, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

B. Payment information
- Payments are processed by third-party processors such as Stripe
- We do not store full card numbers or bank details on our servers
C. Usage data
- Session activity, pages and features used, time on tasks
- Practice history such as question sets, formats, scores, and feedback
D. Device and technical data

E. Audio, video, and interview recordings

- Automated transcripts of your spoken responses, plus derived signals such as pacing, filler words, speaking time, eye contact and on-camera presence cues, and structure scores

Video and audio capture only happens after your browser asks for camera or microphone permission and you grant it. You can decline, revoke permission, or use text-only practice tools at any time. We do not use facial recognition, identity matching, or biometric identification, and we do not build biometric profiles from your recordings.
F. Communications

Recordings, transcripts, and reports
Recordings, transcripts, and report cards are stored in our managed cloud infrastructure (Supabase) in private, access-controlled storage. They are tied to your account and are visible only to you and to authorized Intervly staff who need access to operate or support the service.
- We do not publish, share, or sell your recordings.
- Analytics and playback features in your dashboard replay only your own sessions.
- You can delete individual sessions and their associated media from your dashboard where that option is available, or request deletion of all recordings by contacting us.
- Audio and video are processed to produce transcripts and feedback. Once processed, media may be retained so you can review past sessions until you delete it or your account is closed.
AI and third-party processors
To deliver interview simulation, speech recognition, voice output, and feedback, we send limited content to trusted third-party processors under contractual confidentiality and security terms. Depending on the feature, these may include:
- Speech-to-text providers to transcribe your spoken responses
- Text-to-speech and conversational voice providers to generate interviewer audio
- Large language model providers to generate questions, grading, and written feedback
- Cloud hosting, database, storage, and email providers
- Payment processors such as Stripe
- Product and web analytics providers such as Google Analytics
These providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your content for their own independent purposes. We may add, remove, or replace processors as the Platform evolves, including moving certain speech and language processing to infrastructure we operate directly.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Platform and its features

- Transcribe, analyze, and score your spoken and video responses to generate report cards, skill breakdowns, and progress analytics
- Generate feedback, analytics, and performance insights for you

Legal bases for processing
Where applicable, we process personal data based on:
- Performance of a contract with you
- Legitimate interests such as improving the Platform and security
- Your consent, when required
- Compliance with legal obligations
AI, content, and training
Intervly uses AI to simulate interviews, transcribe spoken answers, analyze delivery and video presence, and generate feedback and report cards. We do not publicly display your individual responses, and we do not sell your recordings or transcripts.
We may use aggregated and de-identified data, such as score distributions and question performance, to improve our tools. We do not use your camera video for facial recognition or biometric identification, and we do not permit our third-party model providers to train their general-purpose models on your content. Results and feedback are educational and are not guarantees of admissions outcomes.
Data security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls, and routine monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion as described below.
- Recordings, transcripts, and reports are kept so you can review your progress until you delete them or close your account.
- When you delete a session or your account, we remove the associated media and transcripts from active systems and purge them from backups on our normal backup rotation.
- Limited records such as purchase and billing history are retained where required for tax, accounting, or legal purposes.

You can:
